Flexible Tuition

We understand the long-term financial commitment families make when choosing to make the investment of a Jewish Day School education for their children. And we know that many families work hard to make it a financial priority.

That’s why we developed our flexible tuition program to make a Lerner School education affordable for all families. We want any family who believes in the importance of a Jewish Day School education for their children to be able to fulfill their hopes.

All families are required to contribute toward the cost of tuition and fees, we encourage all prospective families to apply for Flexible Tuition so your unique needs and circumstances are best met.

Tuition and Fees for 2017-2018

Preschool Programs and Tuition 2017-2018

Flexible Tuition

One third of Lerner School families currently receive Flexible Tuition. Flexible Tuition applications are reviewed annually. Applicants and returning students who are interested must apply each year with current financial information by the published deadlines for full consideration. Unless there is a significant change in a family’s financial situation, returning students who meet the application deadline can expect a similar leveled tuition throughout the years they apply.

Eligibility

Flexible Tuition is available for Elementary and 5-day Preschool students. (Please note that part-time Preschool students are not eligible for Flexible Tuition.) Eligibility for Flexible Tuition is based on the demonstrated financial need of our families, as determined by the Lerner School’s confidential and independent financial assessment service, Tuition Aid Data Services (TADS).
