Weeks and Themes

Week 1: 6/20-6/24 - Rock N' Treasure Quest

We’re taking a trip to the rock quarry! Together we will hunt for hidden gems, fossils, and magnificent treasures that glitter and sparkle. We will explore the rock cycle while making geodes, discovering how rocks are formed, and using tools to uncover the hidden world beneath our feet.

Week 2: 6/27-7/1 - Spy Master

Can you find the missing clue or solve the mystery? Campers will become spies and use their investigation skills to find clues, solve mysteries, and escape booby traps.

Week 3: 7/5-7/8 (Camp closed on 7/4) - Happy Birthday USA!

Join us for a patriotic week where we take red, white, and blue fun to the next level! With everything from firework crafts to noise makers to fun kosher desserts. This week will explode with excitement!

Week 4: 7/11-7/15 - Carnival Extravaganza!

Let the games begin! Campers will participate in classic carnival games like ring toss, bean bag throw, and duck fishing as well as work together to create a few new ones. We will all win prizes as we challenge ourselves with obstacle courses and practice our team work skills.

Week 5: 7/18-7/22 - Rosie Revere, Engineer

Taking the inspiration from the book Rosie, Revere Engineer by Andrea Beaty, campers will use their engineering skills to build creations using a variety of materials. Together we will use the concepts of force and motion, magnetism, and simple machines to master architectural structures and designs.

Week 6: 7/25-7/29 - Space Adventure

Look to the sky! What do you see? Campers will blast off into space and explore the unknown. Together we will make telescopes and rockets, build robots to explore planets, and discover icky sticky slime aliens.

Week 7: 8/1-8/5 - Silly Weather Science

Why is the sky blue? How are rainbows made? Why does it rain? Together our future scientists will explore the weather through fun hands-on experiments.
